About The Journal
The Israeli Journal of Humor Research: An International Journal (ISJHR), is an academic electronic journal, inaugurated in The 2012 Krakow International Humor Conference. The journal is published on behalf of The Israeli Society for Humor Studies. Prof. Arie Sover, Chair of the Israeli Society for Humor Studies, is the founder and the first Editor in Chief of the journal. The Journal has a wide and distinguished international advisory board, and aims at an international readership and pool of contributors.
The journal is open to any disciplinary perspective that contributes to the scholarly understanding of humor.
ISJHR is open-access and free of charge for both the authors and the readers.
