The Israeli Association for Humor Studies has two refereed e. journals:
The Israeli Journal of Humor Research in English, and
Humor Mekuvan: A Research Journal in Humor Studies in Hebrew (except the first issue that contains also articels in English). 
Humor Mekuvan is the first and the only Hebrew journal that deals with humor research. The journal was established in 2011 by Prof. Arie Sover.

Humor Mekuvan engages with humor studies from the viewpoints of an array of different disciplines, including but not limited to psychology, sociology, philosophy, anthropology, media studies, folklore studies, literary studies, the movies, theater, the visual arts, linguistics and pragmatics, translation studies, sociology, education research & practice, medical applications, cognitive science and computer science. 

 

This journal is a forum for research into Israeli or Jewish humor, or into humour in general. Articles are sought that would engage these domains from the theoretical, empirical, descriptive, or practical/applied viewpoints.

The members of the Editorial Board are representative of the senior humor research community in Israel.Two issues per year are expected, containing articles in Hebrew, as well as book reviews.
